Shrikant Bolla, born on July 7, 1991, in Machilipatnam, Andhra Pradesh, has been blind since birth. Despite facing ridicule and isolation from his peers during his school years, Shrikant channeled his energies towards academic excellence, consistently topping his class in both school and college.

Determined to pursue a career in science, Shrikant aspired to study at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT). However, he initially faced rejection due to his blindness. Undeterred, he legally challenged this decision and, after a six-month battle, secured admission to study science in the 12th grade, where he excelled with 98 percent marks.

His academic prowess led him to the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in the U.S., where he became the first international blind student. After graduating, Shrikant received numerous job offers but chose to return to India to launch his own startup, continuing his journey of overcoming challenges and inspiring others.
