Kendriya Vidyalaya Admission 2023 : The Kendriya Vidyalaya is a chain of central government schools across India. This educational institute runs under the Ministry of Education, Government of India. How to apply
If parents are interested to get admission to their children in class 1 they can apply online admission form. Register on the website and fill out the form.
The procedure of applying for online form
- Login to the website and get entry to the relevant link. During registration ca, the captcha code will be shown on the screen. Add a captcha and login to the page
- Now online application form will appear on the screen, enter all basic and essential information and submit the form
- Choose the choice school given below the lists. You can select at least three schools
- Upload the scan copy of the student’s photo and date of birth certificate
- Select the declaration button and save button
- An OTP will generate and it will come on your registered mobile number.

Admission Procedure For Class 1
There is no admission for class 1. The seats are available on the lottery system, out of 40 seats 10 seats are reserved for SC/ST/OBC/ physically disabled applicants. The lottery system is also prioritized according to the categories and the remaining seats are filled with as per the priority category of the students.
Admission Procedure for Class 2nd to 8th
There will no admission test for the 2023 admission for classes 2nd to 8th. The seats are allotted as per the category priority. In case, there are more application forms then the lottery system is followed.
Admission Procedure For Class 9
For class 9th admission tests will be conducted by the school itself. After which the merit list will appear as per the category. The admission test includes Hindi, English, Mathematics, Social Science, and Science subject. The time duration of the test is 3 hours and it carries 100 marks for each paper. The minimum marks to clear the entrance examination are 33% for general category and 25% for other categories.
Admission Procedure For Class 11
The admission in the class 11th is on the aggregate marks obtained in the class 10th for the science stream 60%, for the commerce stream 55%, and for humanities passed in the 10th class.
Admission Procedure For Class 10th and 12th
If the student is less than 40 in class 10th or 12th then Kendriya Vidyalaya Deputy Commissioner of the Region opens admission for the class 10th and 12th. But the student should be a student of the central board of secondary education affiliated school. The students who are taking admission to class 10th or 12th should score a minimum of 55% in the 9th or 11th examination.
