Backward Classes and Most Backward Classes and Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes Post Matric Scholarship Scheme have been operated for the students of Backward Classes and Most Backward Classes and Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes, permanent residents of Bihar state.

Under this scheme, the following students will be able to apply for the scheme of Bihar Post Matric Scholarship Portal

1. The applicant should be a permanent resident of Bihar State
2. The applicant’s caste should be included in the list of Backward Classes and Most Backward Classes and Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes issued by the State Government.
3. For Post Matric Scholarship Scheme, the maximum total annual income from all sources for the year 2019-20 and 2020-21 of the applicant’s parent or guardian by the Government of India and up to ₹ 250000. In this way, the maximum total annual income from all sources for the financial year 2019-20 and 2020-21 of the parent or guardian for SC/ST application is up to ₹ 250000. In the future, the order issued by the concerned department regarding the maximum benefit of the parent or guardian will be considered applicable.
4. Under the Post Matric Scholarship Scheme, only the students studying in the post-matriculation examination after passing the matriculation or entrance examination can apply for the scholarship.
5. After passing one level course, you will not be entitled to the scholarship for pursuing another equivalent course. That is, if you are studying in any class and will study from another faculty of the same class, then you will not be given the amount of scholarship i.e. if you are doing IA and will do another course ISC then you will not be given scholarship amount.
6. In Backward Classes and Extremely Backward Classes, only two sons of the applicant’s parents will be provided Post Matric Scholarship Scheme. This rule will not apply to daughter yoga, but this rule will not apply to Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes.

1. On the basis of the applications received for the scheme on Bihar Post Matric Scholarship Portal a separate list of fresh and renewal applications related to various courses will be prepared on the lines of the District Program Officer (SSA) in the prescribed form.

Registration of applicants on the Post Admission Scholarship Scheme Portal

It is mandatory for the students to register online to get the benefit of a post-entrance scholarship. Applicants will be required to apply online on the Post Admission Scholarship Scheme portal within the prescribed date through advertisement by the State Government. Aadhar and mobile verification of students will be done through OTP on the mobile given during registration.

After completing the above process, the applicant will have to log in, from which he will get the Applied Scholarship Details, according to which the applicant will have to enter his personal details, mobile verification, and bank account details. It is mandatory to have the name of the applicant in the bank account. Along with this, it will also be mandatory to mark the details of the institute, course, and certificates correctly.

In order to submit the online application, it will be necessary to fill the (+) Marked Field by the applicant. Otherwise, there will be no final submission of the form. No changes can be made by the applicant after the final submission. Preview will be generated before the final submission of the application related to the registration entered by the applicant on the portal, so that the applicants will be able to match their entries correctly and submit them on this portal. Applicants will be able to keep the PDF print of the finally submitted application safe with them.

All information will be checked

After the final submission of the application registered by the applicant, the application will be forwarded to the login ID of the concerned institute. The verification of the certificate number related to the caste / residential / income certificate given by the applicant in the application will be done through BPSM (Bihar Administrative Reforms Mission), checking of bank account from PFMS server and checking of Aadhaar number from Aadhaar server through online medium.

In the event of a change or error found in the details related to the applicant’s bank, the application will be transferred again to the applicant’s login, where the correct details will be uploaded on the portal after resolving the error by the applicant.

Registration of Institutions on the Post-Veshiktotra Scholarship Scheme Portal

The registration of the institutions and the courses run in them will be necessary on the Post Matric Scholarship Portal (PMSP). For this, the desired entry of various information given in the portal will be done by the institute. Institutions will be able to register their institute portal by filling in all the details correctly and clearly. For this, the institute’s AISHE Code, Mobile Number, Email Id, certificate related to the recognition/affiliation of the institute, letter of recognition/acceptance related to various courses conducted in the institute/relevant records, TAN No. of the institute. would be required.

The institutes will get the User ID and Password on the mobile number registered by them, which can be changed by the institute as per the requirement. It will be the responsibility of the Institute to maintain the confidentiality of the User ID and Password received by the Institute. In respect of the institute, it will be expected that nodal officers should be nominated for this scheme and their names, mobile no., e-mail id’s information should be mentioned on the portal.

It will be the responsibility of the institute that all the entries made on the portal and all the uploaded documents/certificates/relevant letters etc. are valid and the concerned institute will be responsible for any tampering and entry of wrong information related to them.
