• Apart from this, if the candidate belongs to the Gorkha community of Nepal, then he can also apply for this post.
• All the applying candidates must be unmarried.

• If the candidate marries during the training, he/she will be discharged and the expenses incurred during the training will also be recovered from him/her.
• In the SSB Interview, the candidate will have to carry all his original documents and two photocopies of them along with the online application form.

Indian Army Technical Entry 49 Selection Process

• It is the responsibility of the Army Head Quarters to select the candidate. Head Quarters can do the process of shortlisting on their own; no rules have been set by them yet.
• All the shortlisted candidates will get a notice for SSB through their email id.
• Printout of this notice will have to be taken out for an interview at the allotted SSB centre.
• There will be no change in the allotted SSB interview centre
• During SSB Interview they will have to take the exam in two phases. The candidates who will qualify this page one will go to the next stage and those who fail in the first stage will be sent home.
• In SSB Interview, the candidate will also be subjected to Psychological Test, Reasoning Test, and Mind Mapping Test.
• All the candidates who clear Status II will have to appear for the Medical Test.
