NATA Exam 2024: NATA full form National Aptitude Test in Architecture is a national level entrance examination conducted to evaluate the aptitude of architecture candidates in India. Through this examination candidates can get admission in B.Arch degree program in top architecture colleges across the country. It tests the drawing, observation and reasoning abilities of the candidates. Important information for NATA Exam 2024 is as follows:
- NATA exam date 2024: NATA Exam 2024 will be conducted on 6 April 2024.
- Conduct of Examination: The examination will be conducted in online mode and will be held twice a year.
- Application Form: Application forms for NATA Exam 2024 will be available from March 2024 and can be filled in online mode only.
- Eligibility Criteria: Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with PCM subjects and have at least 50% marks.
- Exam Pattern: There will be a total of 125 questions in the exam which will be Multiple Choice, Multiple Select, Preferential Choice, Numerical Answer and MFQ type. Overall the question paper will be of 200 marks.
- Syllabus: The syllabus of NATA Exam 2024 will be divided into Mathematics, General Aptitude and Painting subjects.
NATA 2024 exam
The NATA Exam 2024 is scheduled to be conducted from April to July 2024. An information brochure of the National Aptitude Test in Architecture has been published. As per the notification, online applications will start from March 1, 2024, on the official website – nata.in. It is not mandatory to participate in the second or third examination, it completely depends on the wish of the applicant. Candidates can register themselves by filling out the application form for one or a maximum three examinations in an academic year.

To qualify for NATA Exam 2024, a candidate must score at least 20 marks in Part A, and at least 30 marks in Part B, and the total qualifying marks for NATA Exam 2024 must be 70 out of 200 in Part A and Part B combined. Needed
Please note that unless all the three conditions given above are fulfilled, no candidate will be considered qualified for NATA Exam 2024. Only the best score obtained in all attempts will be considered as valid score. Candidates must have passed the 10+1 or 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects or 10+3 Diploma examination with Mathematics subject.

NATA Exam 2024 will be divided into two parts – Part A will be the Drawing and Composition Test, which will be a 90-minute offline exam for 80 marks and Part B will be Objective Questions (MCQs), which will be a 90-minute computer-based exam for 120 marks. The examination will be in Hindi and English language.
The NATA Exam 2024 will be conducted in two sessions – the first session from 10 am to 1 pm and the second session from 1.30 pm to 4.30 pm, each session will be of 180 minutes.
Following are the eligibility criteria for NATA Exam 2024:
- Educational Qualification: 10+2 level or equivalent examination passed with PCM or 10+3 Diploma with Mathematics as subject.
- Marks: 50% marks in PCM and 50% marks in aggregate in class 12th/Diploma.
- Age Limit: There is no age limit.
- Appearing: Students studying at 10+2 or 10+3 level are also eligible.

Registration Date: Registration for NATA 2024 is expected to start from March 1, 2024. Applicants will have to register themselves during this period by visiting the official website – nata.in.
- Visit the website: Visit the official website and find the option ‘NATA 2024 Registration’ or ‘Apply Online’.
- Fill the Application Form: Fill the required information like personal details, educational qualification, contact details etc.
- Upload Documents: Upload your photograph, signature, and other required documents.
- Pay the Examination Fee: The application fee is fixed and has to be paid through online mode.
- Submit the Registration Form: After filling all the details correctly and making the fee payment, submit the form.
- Registration Number and Password: After registering, you will receive a registration number and password. Keep it safe as it will be necessary for all the information related to the exam and results.
