Admission to central universities will be done through the CUET exam. At present, UGC has made CUET 2022 exam mandatory for admission to UG courses. CUET 2022 exam will be conducted by NTA. The registration process for CUET 2022 exam is starting today i.e. 6th April 2022. One can register for this exam on the official website cuet.samarth.ac.in. From next year, the score of CUET exam will also be made compulsory for admission to PG courses. Before the CUET exam, many deemed to be universities and state universities have also implemented the CUET score here.

These are the documents required for CUET UG 2022
These documents may be required while filling out the CUET 2022 Application Form. Take them out beforehand (CUET Documents).
- Marksheet of class 10th and 12th
- Photo
- Signature (scanned copy)
- ID Proof (Aadhaar Card, Driving License, etc.) with photo
- Caste certificate, non-creamy layer certificate (if you have it)
CUET UG exam will be conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode. CUET UG 2022 will provide a single-window opportunity to the students to take admission in any Central University (CU) across the country. NTA will conduct CUCET 2022 for the first time for 45 central universities. However, these universities will have the option to choose the admission process. As per the CUCET exam pattern, there will be three sections in the CUET 2022 exam. The question paper will consist of a compulsory language test, two domain-specific exams, and a common test.
According to the National Testing Agency (NTA), candidates can take up to nine papers in two different combinations. Under the first combination, a candidate can take up to two language papers, six domain subjects and a common test spread over sections IA and IB. Under the second, one can choose up to three languages, a maximum of five domain subjects, and a common test. In both cases, a maximum of nine papers can be taken.
CUET Exam Pattern 2022
Section-A in Central Universities Common Entrance Test 2022
Section IA will be language-based and will be conducted in 13 different languages. Any of these languages can be selected. Section 1B Language – There will be 19 languages. You can choose a language other than the one proposed in Section IA. As per the official notice, candidates will have to attempt 40 questions out of 50 in each language. , CUCET 2022 Language Test will be tested through reading comprehension, based on different types of passages- factual, literary and narrative. Candidates will be given 45 minutes for each language.
Candidates have to appear in any one of the 13 languages including Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Gujarati, Oriya, Bengali, Assamese, Punjabi, English, Hindi, and Urdu.
Section-B – Central Universities Common Entrance Test 2022
Section II – 27 domain-specific topics are being offered under the domain section. A candidate will have the option to choose 6 subjects as desired by the applicable University. Candidates have to attempt 40 questions out of 50 in Section II also. The question types will be MCQs based on NCERT Class 12 syllabus only. The time duration of the CUCET 2022 exam for this section is also 45 minutes for each of the domain-specific topics.
Languages in 19 languages including French, Spanish, German, Nepali, Persian, Italian, Arabic, Sindhi, Kashmiri, Konkani, Bodo, Dogri, Maithili, Manipuri, Santhali, Tibetan, Japanese, Russian, Chinese other than those given in Section IA Candidates will have to choose anyone from.
Section-C – Central Universities Common Entrance Test 2022
This section will consist of a common test. A candidate can attempt this section for any graduate program or programs offered by the university where a common test is being used for admission. Candidates will have to attempt 60 questions out of 75 in one hour.

CUET 2022 Registration Process – Central Universities Common Entrance Test
- Step 1- Go to the official website cuet.samarth.ac.in.
- Step 2- Click on the registration link appearing there.
- Step 3- Generate the login by submitting your name, parent’s name, mobile number, email address, and other details.
- Step 4- Log in with the new login credentials. Then fill out the application form.
- Step 6- Upload photo and digital sign.
- Step 7- Submit the application fee.
- Step 8- After the complete process, take a printout of the application.
