Ladli Laxmi Yojana 2.0 Madhya Pradesh: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Chouhan has announced to give 25 thousand rupees to the girls who take admission in the college. This amount will be given to the girl child under Ladli Laxmi Yojana 2.0. The assistance amount will be given in two installments. The first installment will be given after taking admission in the college and the second installment will be given on completion of the paper. 12 thousand rupees will be given under the first installment and 13 thousand rupees will be given under the second installment. Apart from this, the government will also bear the expenses of girls studying doctor in private colleges. Ladli Lakshmi Utsav will be celebrated every year from May 2 to May 12. What is Ladli Laxmi Yojana 2.0
Under the Ladli Laxmi Yojana, emphasis has been laid on the education of the girl child by the Madhya Pradesh government. If Shivraj government is seen, then earlier also Ladli Laxmi Yojana was started which was started on 1st April 2007. Under this scheme, assistance is given to the girl child for her studies from birth to class 12. This scheme was carried forward to the college level and at the same time, the girl students studying doctor who want to study in private college, all the expenses of their education will also be borne by the government.
It is mandatory to fulfill the eligibility to get information and apply for Ladli Laxmi Yojana. More than 42.08 lakh girls have been registered under this scheme since the year 2007. Scholarships worth Rs 231.07 crore have also been distributed to 9.05 lakh girls admitted in class 6th, class 9th, class 11th and class 12th.
When was Ladli Laxmi Yojana started?
Ladli Laxmi Yojana 2.0 has been started by Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Chouhan on 09 May 2022. The scheme was started at Lal Parade Ground in Bhopal. During this, flowers were showered by the Chief Minister on all the dear daughters present in the program and CM virtually connected with Ladli Laxmias up to all district, block and gram panchayat levels so that they too could express their feelings. Apart from this, e-Ladli app was also launched.
Eligibility for Ladli Laxmi Yojana
- The rules of Ladli Laxmi Yojana are as follows.
- Applicant should be a permanent resident of Madhya Pradesh.
- Only the daughters of the state are eligible for this scheme.
- The age of the applying daughter should be at least 18 years.
- If the daughter gets married before the age of 18, then she cannot take advantage of this scheme.
- Applicant’s parents should not be income tax payers.
- If you adopt a daughter then that daughter is eligible for this scheme but you will have to give the adoption certificate of that daughter.
- Eligible girls should be studying or taking admission in college education.
